The first round of the South Swedish Cup in electric touring cars was held in Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden. The track is quite small and narrow, making it a very technical track. The technical track made room for mistakes.
After 3 rounds of qualifying, where only the best round counts. Markus Hellquist managed to secure first spot on the grid, ahead of local driver Karl Ullenius in second and David Hassel in third.

The finals showed very close racing between Markus and Karl where both drivers had to watch their steps very carefully to not make any mistakes. Not making mistakes was hard on this very technical track and the leading position was switched in all of the three finals, but itâ™s only the results when passing the finish line which counts and Markus managed to snatch both the first and the second final which also meant the overall victory. Karl managed to win the last final securing the second spot ahead of Mattias Johansson.
